Just enjoy the game. Don't stress out over how everything is linked together in the world of Halo. When I saw the commercial, it didn't even once cross my mind that the kids could be related to Master Chief at all. I don't see why it matters.

Or you just let people believe what they want until their mind implodes from linking the most insignificant things together... "omg that blade of grass means coagulation"...like that but less crazy
