I hate that guys are expected to pay for everything for a girl. I think it's okay on a first date, and maybe a few dates after that, but after 6 months of being in a relationship I still have to pay for everything? I know it's nice to do to show a girl you really like her, but why don't girls ever have to do anything themselves?

It's BS and I think it's perfectly fair that they have to have child birth.

Pffft you don't really have to buy them anything... Sure you can buy them something to show some affection, but you've dug yourself into a hole now sir...She now expects you to buy her everything, getting a free ride and stuff...If you stop buying her stuff now, she'll think somethings wrong, or that your spending your money on some other girl...

And plus, I go by the principle of who makes the first move...If I woman asks me out, there is no way in hell that I would ever consider shouting her a meal or something for that date. But with that I'm not expecting her to shout me either...She's trying to get me, not me trying to get her, so I'm not forking out cash for a $40 lettuce leaf...

Plus, telling them after you've got it in the bag (like after they want to meet you again after the first night out or something) that you don't shout stuff except on special occasions and things should go half half won't make them rely on you and will make them appreciate it muchly (legit word seriously) when you do buy something for them

Though China's government is really screwed up, don't exactly have a good viable reason to be enemies with them. If we're gonna go to war with anyone soon, it's gonna be Hezbolla (don't know if I spelled that right) or North Korea.

Ugh, im glad i almost payed attention to my final project in econ last year. due to our trade barriers and tariffs, we owe china a lot of money. i think going to war with them would be a bad idea since 1; we owe them so much money and 2; we import soooo much of our stuff from china.

The stupid book we're reading, that has to do with the Scopes Trial (for the ones who do not know of this, it was the one where a school teacher was prosecuted for teaching Evolution in the classroom) and when it came to the definitions of Creationists and Evolutionists, one of the guys yelled out,

"Well, I have no problem with Evolutionists, They're stupid enough to believe we all came from monkeys." and I came back with,

"At least genetic mutations over millions of years sounds more intelligent than some "All powerful guy" creating shit in 6 days. If the world was created in a few thousand years, how can we have Carbon dating on fossils and organisms with VERY Similar to ones still living dating back millions of years beyond the timeframe given in the bible."

and his sad rebuttal "Well, I guess you're the ones that are stupid enough to believe we came from monkeys." (so basically, he either didn't understand what I said, or he is too ignorant to see he's in a corner)

and then, my Final rebuttal, "Don't make me throw my shit at you." and then I was escorted to the office for the remainder of the period.

I agree with you...
I don't mean to be rude to anyone here but it is my personal belief from exeprience with talking to a lot of them, is that Christian people will not ever seem to accept anything out of the bible or outside of their beliefs...accept is too much of a general word...even *consider* other people's beliefs that they have even the remote chance of being right...Such as science, even though it has its own flaws, it at least can be backed up by certain amounts of evidence other than some ancient writing written 300 years (If I remember correctly) after the death of a certain person... I could go into it even further but then I would completley derail this thread and have everyone rant against my views (even though it would jusst confirm what I was writing above

)...So I won't.

Like I said, I don't mean to stand on anyone's toes here, but this is from my experience with talking to them and Cuda reminded me of this.

And whilst this is something I've brought up before...I want to bring it up now...I hate tiled textures...I hate them so much...No, I am not just referring to Faisa'ls recent works in my skinning competition, I am referring to other games too...It astounds me that they can deam squared textures as fit for release! To fix this is about a 5minute period of constant testing with sublte tweaks to the texture...The result is so much better thanseeing the squares...

To think some underground crappy nub of a person like me is able to get around this, who does it for free and enojys it makes it worse coz these developers are getting paid to do this and are still doing a shitty job.
I do not have a high definition TV, I do not know if it would make it better or worse (being able to see more pixels to pattern the texture further?), but I don't care...I still don't like what I;m seeing

false I am catholic and i don't really care what god u believe in or if u don't I'm starting to doubt the whole god thing i mean what would make god love humans apart from the fact the we made more and more inventions that helped us dominate the world but like catholics like my mom think animals don't go to heaven but the fact is humans are animals so the catholics are just idiots

What I think is a great oxymoron is any (overly) religious person being a doctor, surgeon, or anyone like that. If you're so religious, why interfere with God's plan of humanity? How do you know it's not extremely vital I have a tumor, because that's the way life goes?

I personally think we've screwed this world up too much by trying to cure every disease out there, that's why we have a bunch of problems on our hands now. Pandemics and normal viral infections are nature's way of killing us off if there's too many of us, we shouldn't try to make everyone live to 200 years.
