Starcraft did team colors pretty well. Units had detail, and then some color added on to them to serve the team identification purpose.

Also, six hours of playing TFU. Ugh. I'm reminded why I don't game that much...

Starcraft did not keep the same Scheme in Singleplayer.
I understand why they would have such in multiplayer, but in Singleplayer?!? Sloppy. Harsh yes... garsh darn it, pissen me off.
Its just so simple. I would do it my self if I could.
It would take less then a day to do (give or take)

Actually, colors were there in SP...if you were the Sons of Korhal, you were red, for example. And in levels with more than two factions, it was useful (attacking different broods of the Zerg, for example).
My point is that they managed to make it not intrusive, and that it's a pity that Halo Wars is doing what it is.

At this point I would think there was some "evil twin" sort of thing going on, but Scotty has so many more emblems it's not hard to pick him out.
