Yep, library for me too. They're really amusing because they're so badly done. They stay pretty accurate to the book/radio, though.G.I.R. wrote:;-; I want to sees them, but I'm too cheap to buy them (that is, if they're available for purchase in the first place...)

I liked the movie. :/ Adams meant for it to not follow the books, and have its own original offshoots, if I recall correctly.G.I.R. wrote:Happiness post: I read the HGTTG series before they started making the **** movie based off the books.

Well then they still did it wrong, because it seems like they made it too accurate to the books then, if it was supposed to have it's own offshoots. So either way they failed. I wish Douglas Adams hadn't died. :\shadowkhas wrote:Adams meant for it to not follow the books, and have its own original offshoots, if I recall correctly.

Is it that kind of intense game where everyone's screaming, "SHI- WATCH YOUR ******** SIDE! HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!" over the headsets?
Because that's the kind of game I want when I decide to rent it.

Then the microsoft rep at work that showed up to replace our gamestop's xbox is a liar. Which I highly doubt that.Tural wrote:The disc is not accessed for content of the game. The games content is copied, in its entirety, to the console. The dashboard, the software on the console itself, has methods with which it verifies the disc in the tray. The disc is not used for content, the console merely checks that the disc exists. It does not do this through content files on the disc, per se. It checks the title information on the disc, not the content in the game. Without the dashboard check, the game would run just as it would with it. No content is missing in the hard drive copy, and that is what he was saying. The game does not require the disc, as you say; the dashboard requires the disc simply to check for presence.
If you'd like to dispute this, feel free to provide the specific file names which the console does not copy. However, as far as I have seen and understood, there is not a single file that the game requires that isn't copied. The executables and all content gets copied, and that is what the game needs to run.

I'm not very willing to believe that someone high up enough/One of the developers to know how the system works would also be the person that drops off xboxs at GameStop.Trulife8342 wrote:Then the microsoft rep at work that showed up to replace our gamestop's xbox is a liar. But anyway, I don't really care. I just know it makes Fable 2 better
