My friends keep saying my connection is horribly slow. But I can clock in on West coast CSS servers with a ping of 0-7. So I took a speed test.

Image

is that good?

EDIT: I don't know why it keeps sayingm y local server is one in Kansas City, MO, but I am in the LA Area.

Well then...at least you have good taste in women.

Did she do the thing that she can do with here tongue and a cherry stem?

My rant: I got alcohol poisoning. And bad.

Got home from a nightclub at around 5am with my girlfriend on Saturday night/Sunday morning, she says I was like delirious and crazy when we went to bed, then the next day (yesterday) I couldn't keep anything down and was just constantly being sick. The worst part was that I was so incredibly hungry and thirsty it was actually hurting me.
Woke up this morning after little sleep and though I'm not being sick, my stomach is still really bad.
I had every window open in my room last night, my room was about 10 degrees Celsius, but my body temperature was in the high thirties.

The most annoying part is, I didn't even drink that much, like... i've drunk a lot more before and been fine.

This blows.
What did you have to drink? You could of had less drinks but with more alcohol.
Trulife8342 wrote:xiion called me at 3 am this morning JUST TO TELL ME HE WAS HIGH, i swear to god i almost killed him, not to mention I thought it was some serial killer when I answered.
LOL. I wonder why he did that. O wait...Mb it was 'Cause...he was... like... High.

-----------------------------

Ok…here is my rant/ random thoughts that I think…I think.

In this world we are contently (depending on the person and the degree of which they care) trying to improve our selves. We work hard--- to learn new skills, strive to eat foods that will help us live and grow to be healthy and strong in both mind and body. But a thought occurred to me the other day. When some of us relax we use things that (usually depending on dosage) impair ones abilities. When a person goes out to clubs or a bar to enjoy them selves they have a drink of and with varying degrees of alcohol. If they drink too much of said alcohol, more then the individuals body can take…they feel it in the morning unknowing of what they did at night. (or die a stupid death…idiot.)
And its not just alcohol of course…it’s the other substances too. The ones where you sniff or inject or ---depending on the drug--- smoke “sex” (as in the euphoric feeling that is said to commence when using said drugs). The down side is the destruction of the body when commencing said… “enjoyment”. My pondering is why? Why do we build our selves up to make our selves better for the tomorrow, but in turn for rest and enjoyment--- impair our selves.

Take note…this thought is of a very broad sense. But the basic Idea is there and that is what I’m trying to convey. That is what I’m trying to ask.

Thats just it. For some it's a vice that frees them from the Live better longer stuff. Some do it for the entertainment or feeling of. Some like the flavor and buzz. Many use it as a release.

4 or 5 beers and a couple of alcopops.

Turns out it wasn't alcohol poisoning, because I'm still ill now.

Nevermind.

I'm afraid I have to take sides with Insane here. I see no point in trying to do well in life and then doing these sorts of things to yourself. :?

I just got Garry's mod, but my Apple wireless keyboard doesn't have a NUM Pad, so I can't properly control my contraption.

I think that I'm gonna get a gamer's keyboard from Gamestop tomorrow.

Erm... If they carry gamer's keyboards. They do, right?

Any keyboard should do fine. But if you want a nice replacement keyboard system, I LOVE my Logitech S510 wireless. Very nice.

My rant is Forza 2's starting grid placement...isn't it based on PI? And if it is, howcome when I have the max PI in my class, there's a car with less that starts ahead of me...?
Also, Guldstrand Corvette. Eww.

edit: haha, I posted a reply in the wrong thread...Well there's a rant :P

Gold Rush is the only multiplayer mode included in the initial release of Battlefield: Bad Company.

Anyway, building a relationship with your customers can do great for building repeat sales and respect for a company, rather than having the evil money grabbing business appearance that EA tends to have.

Interwebs are getting worse and worse, paying for about a 7MB connection according to the website and my internet has dropped to a snail paced 500KB(approx).
I believe its my modem, and if I get that replaced and its still slow, someones going to get a beating.

In other news:
I'm bored, its 1:45 am and I have nothing to do, I'm also not tired.

Gears of War is awesome (finally got it thanks to Hawaiian), but...

Multiplayer was a big letdown. #1 I don't know if others get this but the lag is terrible, I'm not terrible at the game but I usually get 1-2 kills per round and half of those are lucky shots. I shoot a guy normally and nothing happens, then that guy turns around and shoots me and kills me in a single hit while I had been supposedly shooting him point blank (not from a distance) with the shotgun.

Second of all 90% of the player matches I've joined just has people team killing and crap...

Singleplayer is excellent though, beat it in one day and already started doing Insanity difficulty. I'll probably be having this game as a singleplayer exclusive, because my multiplayer experience is rather disappointing. Hopefully GoW2 will have better net code or whatever, I've never had this problem in any other game on the 360.

(I know it's an old game, but being old has nothing to do with my complaints, unless a breakthrough in net code or whatever has been released since)

I find gears of war multiplayer to be utter crap. Even without lag the only time I've had a fun time is with system link.
Coop is good :) I'd try play insane with you however I think something like that may lag due to our locations :(
Feel free to send me an invite if I'm on so we can try.

500 KB or kb Kilobytes or kilobits?

ya know alot of things that happens in a person's life gives him/her perspective , if i had a 500 KB a second connection to halo servers i would own everyone , o course my computer is so slow it does not have that capability ,

besides it is not that the internet is getting slower it is that more people are using it and the more people who use it are causing the network the "lag".

ya know my comp's so old i can barely play halo at min quality , 11 yrs old , 400 mhz ,and a 8 yr old graphics card (nvidia 4). i am saving up for a new computer lolz. macbook pro (cuz i want the best of both worlds (not to mention i am a mac user) )
there are 10 types of people in this world those who understand binary and those who do not.

pc's have their advantages over macs .... wait that is not possible

KB sorry, and MB for what I'm supposed to have, I'll fix that.
Good job on being a mac user, getting a new iMac myself... this G4 just can't support what I need.
If you were talking about my internet when you said more people are using it, thats definitely not it, its just being dumb... Stupid Modem.

Wow, "blade22222222" won't answer me.

I've tried contacting him on AIM, and I've sent him an E-Mail and a PM. He won't answer me for anything.

I want to take his Game Battles team 4v4 for our first match... we need practice...

First of all;

Learn how to drive the junker.

Second.

and for the reason of them killing you way faster is probably because you were fighting the host, or the host's X-factor.

Host:
Pro's:
Faster reload time.
Way better precision
Ability to have the shotgun kill from 50 feet.

Cons:
Longer down time..
Blood splatter in face.

And the host's X-factor is basically i random person on your team given host like qualities, to balance it out.
