Hurricane Gustav

Post by nintendo9713 »

Well I don't know how many of you live in Louisiana but I live a little south of Baton Rouge and so tomorrow we are going to get some pretty bad weather. During Katrina, we lost power for 8 days where I live and I do NOT want to experience that again. Is any one else going to be affected by this?

I've been following this today. There are some people who are trying to ride out the storm >_> I guess they didn't learn ANYTHING from Katrina.

Untrue. The homeless people learned to sleep on inflatable mattresses.

I'm thankful that the Florida panhandle won't be majorly affected.

And you decided to stay on the computer? I'd suggest powering down.

May not be relevant to the actual subject, but I found a Live cam of the storm, It's off air at the moment but hopefully it will be back up soon.

Nemph, best of luck to you, my friend.
We used to talk all the time two years ago, hehe I remember that mod we were making with Elite747 that never got released.
Ahh, good times.
I hope all goes well.

I'm back in my dorm at college. There are places that won't have power for literally a month. There is so much damage everywhere. Very few have power. I actually slept through it. I saw so many trees through houses. People have roads closed because of people waiting in line for gas. Everyone is sold out of everything everywhere. This is just horrible. A guy who delivers bread got jumped and the people took all his bread. Society is insane right now.
