The day a Mac plays a computer game outside of tetris . . .

Also, firefox = teh suck, IE = teh uber suck, and safari = go back to macland.

OPERA!!! the only browser that doesn't eat RAM like its ramen.

I was so just going to say that...

Anyways, I'm really enjoying Safari... It's just more eye pleasing after a while.

I installed it on our PC to try it out, and it kinda surprised me at first. I'm not used to the darker look cause I have the uno skin installed in OS X which brightens things up. Anyways, I didn't really play with it much on windows, but no problems so far with the OS X version of Safari 3 beta, so if they are the same then I'd say its great. I did manage to throw my mom for quite a loop though. If there is ever anything that is different on the computer she freaks out and thinks something is wrong, so changing the internet browser definitely made her flip out. Silly parents :P

I like it but it lacks spellcheck and I can't find any skins to replce its boring, dull look .
What does the spider thing do?
Where do I find skins?

Safari doesn't have skins...although I'm sure you'll start seeing resource hacks popping up soon. And the spider thing submits a bug report of that page to Apple.
EDIT: Update for Windows version of it: http://www.macrumors.com/2007/06/14/saf ... -to-3-0-1/

Hmm, you know, this may have interested me if I used Windows.
Give me a Linux version and maybe I'll care. (Though I don't see that happening, so I'll just stick to Firefox, the one browser I can trust on any OS)

Out of curiosty, how do you play halo on linux? And safari for windows isn't as great as my first impression gave me, it actually feels a little like IE6, and it has some annoying habits, (e.g. opening pages in new windows instead of tabs, despite my clicking open in tabs option) and its not as fast as my IE7 or opera like apple said =(
EDIT: And it didn't send all of my post, the other part:
It also uses a crapload of memory, (100MB!!! Opera rarely ever hits 70 'cept with a ton of tabs!) hopefully apple will fix these small bugs and speed it up and lower its memory consumption for the final release. I do enjoy the UI though...

Protip: Not everyone here still plays Halo.
And yeah, I hope that the final release of Safari will be as good as it feels on OS X. It takes up WAY less RAM than Firefox on a Mac, and like I said earlier, it just feels snappier.
