Sorry to hear that Ravn, I hope the best for your brother and your family. Like Snaf said, probably the best thing you can do for him is be strong. Last thing he needs is everyone around him being depressed too.

to story me no need to care but...my moms half brother was being dumb i dont no when and was behind a hotel.he had a shotgun in his shirt and it went off and blew his arm off.the police said he had leaned his lesson about it and didnt go to jail for carrying a gun.now he has no arm.

He's visiting a psychological institution tonight so he can be interviewed. He'll probably be going there for a week or two to work out his problems. I'm not sure if he'll go daily or if he'll sleep there yet.

Sorry for the double-post and bump, but my brother has been in the psychological institute for about 5 days now, and he'll probably be home by around Monday. He sounds great; he's had a lot of time to think about his relationship and he seems to have gotten over it. Of course he won't be completely recovered for several months, but he appears to be in good emotional shape as of now.

I really hope that my family can get results as quickly as yours. We believe my brother is a violent bipolar. Yesterday, he flipped out about a minor issue with me, and then again with my mother. He started punching himself in the face. We need to get him to some psycho analyst or something, and get him on prozac or something.

Mix bipolar with weed, alcohol, emotional distess (and God knows what else), and you can imagine that the situation isn't very pretty...
