I was talking with some tech guy (I don't remember why and where he was from), but he said that EVEN AFTER a thorough format, some malware may still exist on a drive.
Now, if I was told that by some website, I would have declared shenanigans, but this guy knew his stuff.
Does anybody have any idea on how that would work? I mean, a format is just that.. the whole disc is literally erased and started anew.
So I am just somewhat OH CONFUSED.
But, meh. It didn't affect me.
