How did you become a modder?
That is the most ridiculous statement I have seen in a long, long time. Congratulations. Aside from the fact that it's release date is all over the internet, it's possible that he maybe, I don't know, bought it on the release day.G_Church wrote:the fact that you know when halo came out is sad
what i was trying to say was that i have been here sinc there were only 70 people when it was first getting started
You wonder why you don't get any respect, and I'll tell you why. It's because you lie about how long you've been here and act like you're 5 years old. I seriously doubt you are even old enough to own a business, much less own one.
Halo 3 ruined everything..
well i started by cheating on xbl...
...just kidding!!! haha gotcha, i know all of you were ready to hit the report button!!!! suckers!
no but seriously, i used to find glitches and tricks from halo 1 through Ms. Man's trick tutorial movies, before high impact halo ever existed, i then was in jumptacular (clan) and we made a few videos, i quickly got bored with that so i searched around for something new to do. i used to make levels for quake 3 arena and so i started playing halo pc and making levels for it, i then heard about halo nmp and played that on xbc for a while then dothalo came out and i started modding halo 2. good times were had by all.

Well, I had my old piece of shit computer, which at first couldn't play Halo, so I bought a new video card and my computer like, couldn't handle it or something. So I eventually just got a New comp, and I realized that I could finally play Halo on it, so I decided I wanted to mod it, I read some tutorials and really got into modding PC. That got old, and I saw all of the awesome Halo 2 mods, so I HAD to learn how to mod my box. I went to xbox scene, did TONS of research, and then I softmodded it, then put a new HD in it. So that's how I became a modder.

I guess I'm still trying to become a modder? I'm not sure I ever was, though...
I modded my xbox originally because my DVD player busted and I didn't have 30 bucks to pay for a DVD dongle for the Xbox. I had 007, the softmod program, and access to an Action Replay device. I read a lot, modded my xbox, and somehow ended up here (largly thanks to DeToX). He and i used to play XBC a lot together, and ended up modding our XBoxes at the same time. He ended up going into modding, and I somehow slipped into skinning (also thanks to DeToX when he asked me if I would skin coag for him). I decided I'd learn how and made a little skin called The Meadow for coag. It turned out okay and was fun to do, so I did a couple other maps after that. I've done a lot of stuff in private that you will never see, but other than that, I'm not really much of a modder. I'm busy with my family (wife), school, and life in general. I hope to learn more with modding soon, though.

I was over at my friends house and he was making a halo CE map. So I'm like: Whoa! That's awsome! When i get home I'm gonna do that!! So then I get home and search halo editing kit on google and, low and behold, it does'nt work on macs!! So then I spend like 5 hours searching the web only to find their is no way to make maps on a mac and the only person who knows how to make CE maps work on a mac is Bobindashadows and he's a jerk and won't tell any one. But, i find out that you can make regular mods on macs so i decided to do that.

Plus I get bored easily with stuff that originally came on something so I gotta find some way to change it. Also, I got bored with my Xbox and didn't use it very much anymore, so I decided to mod it so I could get more use out of it

Well basically, I got this demo disc thing for my xbox, and it had one playable Halo map, the Silent Cartographer, and I somehow found the original Warthog Jump video and thought it was the coolest thing ever. So I got into glitching a little, visisted HIH every so often, but then I found their modding forums, and thought that was way cooler than glitching. However, I didn't have the stuff I needed to softmod, so I decided to start modding Halo PC which I had bought, but not played very much. I soon got bored of that though, because I really don't like PC gaming. Then I found xlink and played some games in the modding arena, then I saw Punk Rock had a game once, and he was like my idol from the hih modding forums, so I joined his game, and got talking to him, and he showed me sweet stuff (which is now way easy to do, but was super cool back then), and I decided to buy an AR and softmod my xbox.
My friend at school modded xboxs and I asked him what that was and he told me. I was like woah thats pretty sweet so I did some searching and thats how I met ArmedSlayer17. He taught me his ways and by the time he taught me everything I was fed up with halo 2 and quit. Now I mod it and he does photoshop
