i believe that half-live 2 was a decent "one-time" game that came with CS:Source (much better than Half Life 2 itself) and was everything it said it would be. Halo and Halo 2 however, are pure works of art, content rich from the ground up with state-of-the-art features. Nothing even comes close to the perfection of the halo series. And gordon freeman vs mc has nothing to do with which game is better, the mc would probably snap his neck on accident.

I only glanced over that linkie and saw so much stupid my brain ran out my ears.

Now, as for Half-Life 2 vs. Halo 2... I have to say the single player is about equal. The physics were nice in HL2, but it still ended up feeling like a glorified zombie shooter. Halo 2 was (IMO) equally pretty as far as graphics went, but overdid the cutscenes and fell short on the story (if that makes any sense). And I totally SUCK at Halo2 multiplayer (me dualwield plasma rifles + him single pistol = me dead) so any opinion I have on that will be very poor. But I ROCK at Halo (for PC) multiplayer. So it's really hard for me to say which is better. I know which I prefer, but I can't tell you which is better.

Well, Half-Life 2 has the lead on graphics of both Halo Games.
But.
It was a freaking gorefest!
I hate the dark and gloomy levels on Half-Life 2.
The halo games had a better soundtrack.
Go, Mjolnir mix, Go!
Also. Half Life 2 barely has a story line.
Scientist + Super Suit = Some guy who kills zombies.
MJOLNIR Suit + Cyberlogicaly enhanced Human = A Hell of a game.
Yes, i know that Half-Life made number 1 game of all time for PC?
Who cares?
Halo would have been made 1st if bungie didnt want to continue the series on xbox instead of PC. Half Life 2 didnt make 1st. Because its not actually Perfect! Halo 2 on XBN made second place of all games! And Half-Life 2 made 4th place.
Which would be better? A total gorefest with a guy who has weapons who is in a protective suit? Or a great game which no one cant wait untill the next cutscene? To my vote. Halo 2 receives a 9.8 out of 10. And half-life, receives a 9.3 out of 10. And dont forget, Master Chief can kick Gordons rear end with a plasma pistol behind his back. But the real fight will be unleashed. When Half-Life 2 makes it to the xbox.

ok heres how it is

if halo 1 is going up against all the half lifes, halo 1 wins

but if halo 2 is going up against all he half lifes, half life wins by 100%

sry, im not a big fan of halo 2 except for xbl, thats fun
