*Community Project* Entity AI SCNR Plugin (Update 9-27-07)

Introduction
Hello everyone! I've noticed that the Entity SCNR plugin has many unknown values for the AI Zones, AI Triggers, AI Encounters, AI Squads, AI Squad Types, and other various AI reflexives, so I thought that I'd create a community project in order to fill in many of these values.

Update Log
The plugin has been updated as of 9-27-07. If you have downloaded the plugin before that date, please re-download it. Do not download the plugin that is attached to this post, because it would not let me update it. Be sure to download it from one of the mirrors that I have listed.

Progress
The values that we have added are circled in the following pictures. If the value is circled red, Shadowz O Death added it. If the value is circled blue, grimdoomer added it. If the value is circled green, neodos added it. Click each thumbnail to enlarge the image.

Instructions
Please download then edit the plugin. When edited, post it in this thread and I'll update the main post with your plugin as well as add you to the respected list. If you do not know how to edit plugins, read the following tutorial.

1. Open Entity.
2. Open a map with AI.
3. Navigate to the SCNR tag.
4. Click on the dependency.
5. On the top-right side of Entity, click "Tools" then "Meta Editor."
6. On the top-left side of Entity, click "Tools" then "Show....."
7. Click "Check All."
8. Click "OK."
9. Scroll down to "AI Squads."
10. Check or uncheck a single flag labeled "bit."
11. Click "Save."
12. Close Entity.
13. Test the mod. If the AI are affected, post what flag you checked and how it affected the AI. If not, repeat the tutorial, checking a different flag at step 10.

cool i would like to help but i would rather see fully functional AI first like flodd cariers and flood infections. then get AI zones working. but ya ill mess around with some of it.

yes but through some exserimenting i noticed that if you take coagulation for example and put idk elites in from a campaign map and test it it works everything is fine. then you say lets put AI zones in, so you transfer your reflexive. then go to the AI zones and in the first zone where it says string you put your squad name. test it you get black screened. but if you put it in on a SP-MP bsp mod then im pretty sure it works im satill testing it.

I'm pretty sure that's because SP-MP already have correct zones to begin with.

Those were the easy values, also the squads values you circled were already in my plugin.

Trust me, labeling those values isn't going to be easy. Technically were not even sure if those reflexives are correctly labeled or anything.

I'm willing to help out, and I'll see if we can get some moar help from people with immense AI knowledge.

The reflexives arent named correctly, And since some of the info that I have made my research with isnt mine, I cant name them for you, but encounters, And the AI zones aren't really the AI zones.

Almost...No not even near, All I did was tansfer the Reflex to the bsp but besides that Trulife and other experienced people said there is alot more to it so i researched it a little bt more but I lost interest thinking why not just wait for Truife but i'm beggining to get modivated.

i found some more values in the flags section of the AI squads box. only two, then i finally found a plugin that labeld the AI encounters zones and other AI stuff. i transfered them but nothing interesting happend beside the usaly

Indeed. I'm also working on an AI test map for people to easily test unknown values. Also, me and grimdoomer filled in some more unknown values. Although, we're not planning to release the plugin until we feel it's ready. Thanks for everyones' cooperation, and remember to keep filling in those unknown values! :wink:

Glad to see you guys are getng some unknwns fileld in. But remember if you want AI Zones in mp maps its going to take alot of research in the bsp and scnr so good luck. I'll help where i'm needed but i also have some projects going on.
