Good title? I thought not...I'll come up with a better one later.

Before I get into a long description on what this mod is about, I'd like to make a note that this is my last official Halo Trial mod. Also, sadly, it may be my last mod as well.

The idea behind this mod is gameplay: I am trying to incorporate new ideas into this mod using various tools such as HMT, Sparkedit, HHD hex editor, and (mostly) HHT. Most of the models aren't mine, but some of them are. Those I have created: Energy sword, Covenant Turret. Most of the skins aren't mine either, but some I have edited. One such is sam9theman's battle rifle model- I added my own lens to replace the plain blue version. I also edited the flamethrower reticle to look like an energy sword reticle- I did my best to make the sniper rifle's reticle as close to the battle rifle as I could.

Please Also note that this is mod was not rebuilt.

I need someone to record Halo 2/3 sounds. They cannot be ripped. Also, just send me the sound files in any format since I can adjust and covert them myself.

I also would like to know if anyone knows how to adjust the dependency for weapon reticles: most weapon HUDS refer back to the same bitmap that has all the HUD reticles. I know as a fact that there are several sections of that bitmap file that contain each weapon's reticle. I would like to know how to adjust the reticle dependency for each weapon HUD.

Ideas such as:
Hover Tank: A tank that fires tank shells and rockets- both are overheating with different overheating rates, but both tied to the same bar. This tank has a ghost's physics and can sidestep

Fire ghost: I could not recreate the flamethrower's flame due to a particle effect, so I customized my own flame projectile

Terror Shee- A banshee with enhanced physics (gave it a WW2 sharkface look). Shoots red lasers (and decals). The secondary trigger fires 5 "stick grenades"-immediate detonation if thrown far, sticks if thrown over a short distance

Skipping Rod: A fuel rod that skips several times before detonating- it also homes on targets.

Air-strike pistol: fires several large blue missiles from the sky. I have seen a post that may be able to help me adjust the projectile to fall at an angle

Brute shot: I have tried to make the projectile act as the official version, however, instead of a projectile that explodes 0.5 seconds after reflecting off a target, I have to limit it to a short range. Please respond if you have any ideas on how to fix this.

Battle Rifle- replaces the sniper rifle. Has a 3 shot burst and 5x zoom.

Nuke Plasma Grenade- the classic has been brought back from the previous versions due to popular demand. This grenade has an explosion size of 15 (I believe) and damage radius of 20. There is a short delay before detonation and a staggering effect during detonation, very similar to the detonation effect for the air-strike pistol.

Assault rifle- not adjusted yet. I may increase the ROF and accuracy, or I may increase the ROF by several times and create a 2-second burst (this should use up about 15-20 rounds per burst. Please respond if you have a good idea for this that'll not lag-out the game.

I have a night version out for this level, but I plan for a day version as well- possibly even an evening version. I don't have a good night version for the "Halo Ring" yet. Please respond if you have, or plan to make one

Pistol: the pistol is rapid fire and single fire. It has much less damage and
I intend to name it a "magnum". So I need a magum model for this weapon. Please reply if you know of a good magnum model.

Flying Gauss Hog: Flying Warthog with Gausse Turret- Gauss projectiles are non-explosive however.



My whole goal is to create a mod that everyone will enjoy, and one that will encourage modders to take a little extra time learning HHT. I am also trying to bring new ideas into light so that modders (and even mappers) may consider using them in their own creations.I played hugeass and I really enjoy the sniper rounds for scorpion, a.k.a. "the toilet". Hopefully I will be able to find a way to get that into the mod without sacrificing anything original in the mod
