Bridge CE is dying!

Or it will be if I don't get some help soon.

Look, I'm not trying to guilt anybody into doing anything, so PLEASE don't take it that way.

It's just that I spent this morning assembling a precise to-do list for my single player map, Bridge CE (working title) and the list is quite incomplete, yet it lists in excess of 200 things I need to do. Even if I rocket through the list and knock off 5 items a day, there's still no way I'm going to finish this map by myself before H2 Vista comes out. If H2V had a solo map creation capability, there wouldn't be such a problem, but as it doesn't, once it comes out it will be a lot harder to get people to show interest in my map, which I personally (though I may be just a little biased) think would be a damn shame.

I have a small site devoted to the level, and in the next hour or so I will be uploading a whole bunch of new screenshots so you can decide for yourself if I'm all talk or not:

Now I know all the best modders out there all have projects of their own, and I understand completely- I can't work on anything else until this is done. But this map has huge potential, and there are a ton of things that somebody who joins the team (notice I do not say "my" team) will recieve all kinds of credit for. If you help me, this will be just as much your project as it is mine.

In previous recruitment attempts I mentioned certain drawbacks such as the lack of a completed script- this is no longer an issue, and I'm all set to move ahead on everything there is to do. I have work immediately available to anybody interested- here's a list:

all around tagger
skybox modeller
character (human) animator
cinematic scripter
texture/skinner
scenery modeller/animator
ai encounter placer
scenery placer
level modeller

Up till now, I have been doing all these jobs by myself, so it would be nice to distribute the workload more evenly. And please don't be offended when I say this, but, I want the map to be as good as possible, so I'm looking for the best I can get in each area. If you're good at any of those jobs, please e-mail me:

Reading over this post, it seems to me I may sound a little bit pleading. That's because in previous attempts at recruitment I got a few scattered replies showing interest, but I got no follow up (partially my fault for dropping off the radar temporarily). Mostly, though, people said good job! keep doing it! I do not want this to be entirely my creation, because then it will be cool to me, but nobody else, and it will also take me the rest of my life to finish.

But yeah, sorry for the mondo sized post, that's uncharacteristic of me. I'm posting this on a bunch of modding sites so that I can get the word out to as many Halo modders as I can. Even if I don't get any help, this map is going to rock one way or the other, if I've got anything to say about it.
