HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hey there. This messege goes out to most specifically Halo modders, but should be read by ALL modders.

I mod for Halo: PC, and I've just gotten Black & White 2 and began modding for it aswell. At the moment we have no tools, but they are comming. Now, as far as our knowledge goes, there is not much we can do with out tools. But, we know we can do more before they arrive. For example, We have discovered a certain program that can help us. But, it cant open a certain type of file. This file (.ter) was created by lionhead (Makers of B&W2) thus is not an official file. However, I've talked to Phenomena and he is going to try and help.

However, that is not the point of this post. The point is, any and all help would be appreciated. I want to Unite with the Halomods community (a community I've been a part of a long time), to help with B&W2 modding.

With the modding knowledge Halomods has aquired over the years, and the mods we've done, teaming up with the Black and White 2 modding community, we can make some great mods!

To help, go to boards.lionhead.com and Private messege me (ExoBit) or post on the boards (boards.lionhead.com -> Black and White 2 -> Black and White 2 Modding) that your from Halomods.

This is not an official Lionhead endorsed project, but we of the modding community at Black and White 2 would greatly appreciate any help.

I might check this out. I was thinking about buying Black and White 2, it seems like a really cool game.

Its a very good game. But IMO its like a Halo1 ---> Halo 2 transfer.

The first was the greatest thing ever, and the second is just plain amazing, however, its not as good as the original.


It has its flaws. The AI is dumb (we want to improve that) and it has no multiplayer or skirmish (we're hoping we get one soon). Its, in many peoples opinion, Sim City with an attitude. This is one of the reasons modding started for this game. (Lionhead supports us too. They are making the tools. LH made this game btw)

But you should check it out for your self. Despite the flaws above, it is still a very fun game.

You don't have to do 2 topics with the same thing in it

I know. But this is techinically a project, but it is also about another game. And this will attract more people this way because more people will see it.

look at the forum there ain't 2 topics with the same thing in it for a recruitment with the same team that you just read earlier
Its just only Project Recruitment they'll see it or just try at other websites
one topic is enough they will see the topic you don't have to post it everywhere on the board do ya?
