Hello Halo CE Mappers, Taggers, Modelers, Animators, Riggers, Fan Fiction Writers and assorted N***s. I want YOU, yes, all of you, to join me in creating the BIGGEST PROJECT EVER FOR HALO CE. Read my other post below this for more information.
On the topic of recruiting, I want everyone, not just 20-30 people in a big mapping team, but everyone. Even the n***s. Why? Noobs have ideas... Oh, you meant 'why' as in for this entire thing, ok, Well, this idea just came to me as I was thinking of ways to get people back together and to spark Halo CE again. Halo CE is no longer as big as it was, and we've started to make maps no one wants. So, why not combine all the abilities of everyone that has ever mapped, making the ultimate map? Or why just one map, why not an entire series? Make that series a campaign, formatted for single player, made as a game, Halo 3? Pre Halo? Marines @ Halo? We can make it all in 1 giant Campaign.

We have more people than bungie and Gearbox, plus we all have so many creative ideas. We know what was, er, 'bad' in Halo and Halo 2 (storyline, map-wise) and we know we can probably do better.
Just look at who we have and what they've made! And with so many people getting into Single player scripting! We have EVERYTING and EVERYONE we would need. We can make our own Halo 3. Heck, we could make an entire Halo 1, 2, 3, pre halo that shows a different side! The marines at alpha base in halo 1, the spartan training missions, The flood reaching earth, we could do it all! And remember, we arent limited by netcode in an offline environment, makind so much more possible. 300+ Mappers, one campaign ~ 20-30 maps. WE have the skill, and the ability to make something that could even be BETTER than what bungie made.
And if we have 300 people, or even 50, it can be complete within the next 5 months.
We have what it takes, from mappers and modelers, to taggers and scripters, to story writers. And with so many new 'discoveries' in the HEK, we can do so much more. We could even completely trash everything that came with the HEK for our own stuff! Every single piece of the HEK has been replaced in some map, so our campaign could be truely custom.
On the side of mapping, we have so many designers that we could make an entire world where no two locations are the same, why not make the best campaign we could make?
On the side of the limitations we DON'T have, we can actually USE BSPs and doors and scripting and everything, it's not like it has to sync at all! We're talking about creating the greatest project ever for CE, completely redesigning Halo.
So, in conclusion, all of us, one campaign.

+ Make our own - newer versions of H1, H2 weapons
Storyline
+ Follow the books to the letter
+ Write it our selves
+ Mix them, the creativity of the Halo writers with our own fan fiction writers. Their works amaze me!
Voice acting
+ Yes! Who here has a good acting voice?
+ No, no dialog. (I'm hoping this is the lesser choice)
New characters
- Who didn't love the Sarge? We need our own characters that can clearly be distinguished so that we don't have people killing them for their guns! This is what halo lacked, I didn't even know which guy was mendoza until I read the book and noticed he was real...
New vehicles
+ Stick to the simple stuff (plz say no!)
+ The SPARTAN's were trained to drive and fly ALL, so why not have all?

We need everything! But most importantly, a new UI that allows the player to launch our campaign, just like the standard campaign (which is of course possible, just needs a ton of scripting)
We need the UI to have a much better multiplayer interface, formatted for any multiplayer maps we may make for the campaign, WITH PICTURES, just like how they did it with the standard maps, the UI was made to have those maps, so they appear automatically, so why can't we do that with our maps? Everyone who has the campaign would have the multiplayer maps.
If we can make such great maps alone, think of what one big huge campaign by all of use would be like. And we can even allow for as much time as we need. Still working on something? We could wait a year to start, who would care? And leaking? What does it matter when everyone is making it? This is what people are looking for, and we can make it.
