Aright, I'm well aware of my noobiness on this forum, but on behalf of UNSCDF, Loneranger 2.5, and M6D, I would like to ask all you here to help them out in this project.
They are building a database of Halo. It's probably been done before, but not as in-depth as they are going. I wanted to help them out so I was wondering if anyone here knew how to extract, and perhaps animate, objects in Halo or Halo 2. They are trying to get a)high quality pictures of these objects, and/or 2)movies of these things in action.
They're gonna need stuff like:
The Pelican
The Pistol
Master Chief himself.
I already started a thread about this on HIH and they started a thread on HBO
Please help out, and reply on the HIH thread. If you ever need anything gfx-related, I'm your man.
Extracting objects from Halo for pictures/videos

umm if you want to take the pictures/movies there is a way to just make screenshots but if you want movies as well you might as well get fraps, to get it go to:
http://www.halomods.com/site2/geeklog-1 ... ials-index, go to the misc. section and click on how to get ingame clips or something like that.
for the other part, what do you mean animate them?
