Tryouts is an interesting perspective. My only concern is that this was never about skill to begin with. It's about representing the modding community, which means active members.
I'd step down if anyone notable wanted in on the challenge, but most likely I spend more time playing Halo 2 anyway. It's a balance. But I think tryouts might be a going a bit far.
A modding tryout is a fun idea, but we don't all have the time to make cool and complex mods. I spend most of my modding time on helping other people with problems.

i did consider giving the idea to the moderaters/admins but im my experiance the idea would have stopped there, so if they wish to take this to a higher level they can be my guest, but i dont think they want to
