Tdata modding isn't prohibited here.
I think you mean either "is" or "permitted."

Not quite. You will have to remove the hard drive and make some modifications to connect it to a computer. It is much easier to purchase a device which allows you to do so, rather than voiding the hard drive warranty and whatnot.

Modification of maps in the TDATA folder, namely the DLC. Providing tools to modify these would also be providing the tools to cheaters, so we don't do it here.

That last part was a good way to set him off looking for those tools...
And on a somewhat related level, would MS be suspicious if I suddenly was using a 200gb HD or some size they don't sell?
I'm pretty sure I have a tool that can copy absolutely everything on an HD, but would it be noticable/bannable?

My bud and I tried to create a massive hard drive. You wont be able to get on live.

I have a thing that copies a hardrive, byte by byte. It's so stupid, it can do anything.
I just want to know if it's worth my time, and risk my warranty, to crack open the case, copy the drives, and then test it.
I'm also not a big fan of being console banned.
