I finally got Metropolis bridge correctly converted to a multiplayer map.
Then i tried to move the vehicle spawns somewhere in bounds, and that is where i got a problem. The game wont start, it gives me the annoying black screen..
When i only move 1 warhog though, the game loads fine. Then i try to move more and i get the black screen. Any ideas?
Does this mean i had a bad rebuild or something?
Thanks in advance for your help.
EDIT: When i move the spawn points i check off vehicle, and collection. Just trying to be as specific as possible of my problem

Did you convert it the old-school way using Entity or did you use H2Core?
Do you have anything placed over the player spawns?
Is your "black screen" full on froze xbox or can you bring up the player list with the Back button?
What vehicles are you moving?

Probably H2Core.DemonicSandwich wrote:Did you convert it the old-school way using Entity or did you use H2Core?

Anyway, you could save yourself so much trouble if you used Entity to convert that BSP instead of H2Core. There are much less chances of failure.

Oh yea, if something freezes, it's much easier to find out what it is.
Because rebuilding with H2Core is such a more complex process, many things could contribute to the map freezing, as opposed to using Entity.
Unfortunately only a handful of BSPs can be converted with Entity, but the Metropolis bridge is one of them.

Open your SP map and select the sbsp tag you want converted.mintybreath wrote:Oh thats nice to know. Thanks for your help.
Ill try to find some tutorials and such for BSP Conversion with Entity
Edit: Also, would anyone be able to post a good tutorial that uses entity? I thought i knew where to find one but i cant seem to find it anymore
Check the Recursive and Parsed check boxes and save the tags to a folder somewhere.

Open your MP map which I highly recomend to be Gemini, check the Sounds checkbox and click build.

Find the folder with the saved tags and select the .info to build in the tags.
