Halo 2 will not load no matter what I do!

I recently installed an Xbox XDK dashboard on my Xbox to do Real Time Halo and it worked perfectly for a few days. So I plug in my Xbox today to work on my mod, but it just booted to a black screen. I kept restarting it and eventually it booted to Unleash X. Weird... So I launch Halo 2, and ALL of the maps fail to load. So I put in the disk... Still fail to load. I cleared my cache and everything, but now I don't know what to do.

Check your C:\Dashboard folder befor its too late. Make sure default.xbe is in there.

Then get a copy of unleash x from xbins befor its too late. I had the same problem you will get error 13 if you dont hurry. Boot your xbox and leave it on till you FTP over default.xbe.

Just clear your cache and restart your box.

I did and it didn't work. It's odd that the disk maps don't load... But I think that I just need another default.xbe. (Once I find a download for it...)

I had to put in Splinter Cell again to get access to the dashboard again. Booting the linux save again somehow did it. I hope I can access it just one more time to fix it...

Just leave it on, run to xbins and get a copy of UnleashX.

Why is time of the essence?

Because your xbox will boot a cuple more times, after that it will just give error 13.

So should there be a default.xbe next to the xboxdash.xbe?

Yes. I would use the XDK launcher one.

My original xbox was missing half its C drive files including its Dash XBE and I never got Error 13 on bootup and could still use Live.
I only got Error 13 when I tried loading the M$ dash. Other than that, the modded bios should keep it safe.
But I suppose he should keep it on, better safe than sorry.
