Do you normally run things from the E partition?
IF so then the option you might be referring to adds an F drive if your xbox is one that uses the 10gig hard drive rather than the 8gig that older ones use.

Do you have a stock xbox hard drive or did you install a larger one?

I'm pretty sure this is HaloMods not Xbox-Scene.
Please direct your questions about Xbox modding and related topics to
http://www.xbox-scene.com
This topic will be locked shortly anyways. I'm just saving the mods a few seconds so they don't have to post the word "LOCKED".

Meh, less activity and such. Mods won't really care.

If you get a new IDE harddrive fallow this tut to format it unless you have a modchip. Its a long process preparing but its not as hard as you think. And if you need those files ask me I have them all.

If you have a stock harddrive and your xbox is softmodded then you need to format your hdd using evox loading it off a CD. I'm not 100% sure on how to set the .ini file so check on
http://www.xbox-scene.com/ or
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php\
And this may help also:

Before doing any of this backup all your stuff on the xbox to your pc and backup the eeprom and other important things using evox.

"F" drive its only available in HD's +8 gb (like mine, 40gb) i recommend you use UnleashX and format F (if is available) in HD's +137gb a "G" drive exists.
Please read the rules and go to Xbox-Scene.
