SP-MP Problem Some1 Help

Post by XxCoRrUpTeD »

ok well, I've converted over 20 I think actually it might of been over 30 single player to multi player maps. I've tried many solutions.. I've fixed some of my *Main* problems but I still have 1 big one.

Everytime I try to load the map on Halo 2 it will go to 0:00 for the countdown and just freeze and it will stay frozen (its not in blackscreen btw). So I don't know what the problem is... But if anyone thinks they can help me plz do I've been struggling for days trying to get this fixed. Incase you were wondering I've been working on this problem more than 10 hours a day.....

Sidenote: I'm using a burnt to my Hard Drive copy of Halo 2. As well as sometimes using the disc.

Any Help / Solutions greatly appreciated,

Try not checking "Looping Sounds" when rebuilding your map in H2Core.

The funny thing is... to even use the BSP Viewer afterwards I can't have anything in Rebuild Map checked >.<.

I don't know why... I got an Nvidia GeForce 6800 GFX card, 2046MB RAM, and DirectX 10.

EDIT: Then again I use Entity 1 Alpha to edit in BSP Viewer (Raw Editor) because it won't ever let me use it in 1.3.9 and above for some reason.. Only when I first start the map.. everything after rebuild seems to go downhill >.<

I had that problem once when I tried to add some AI to a map. You just got a bad rebuild. 70% of the people her cannot get H2 Core to work properly. Keep trying in different compatibility settings.

Random number >_> but yes, most people cannot.
