HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I'm getting back into Modding my Halo 2 again, But just wounding if theres a Program that i can use to put my Own sounds in there for the Marines to Use?. I Looked around, maybe i missed it or Blind but any Help would be good.

I just downloaded this, when i goto Open map, i dont see anywhere in the list for Marine sounds or whatever, all i see is Gun sounds and other things.

They are there, but there are A LOT of them. They will have a name like marine_perez, marine_aussie, and other things like that.

Alright thanks, i see that, Now is there a Program i need to Record my Voice so i can put it In?.

You can use the Sound Recorder that is pre-installed on your system along with a Microphone if you want to. Find Sound Recorder in Start Menu\Accessories\Entertainment.

When i go to Inject my Recodeing voice it says "file is not the Correct format" how do i fix this

Use Sound Recorder to compress you .WAV sound file into an Xbox ADPCM compression format. Check what format your sound is in and save it in the Xbox ADPCM compression format and it should work. (You need to download the Xbox codec if you haven't already.)

can i download the Xbox codec from anywhere or On Here? cause when i typed it in i get all Kinds of random stuff from the Internet.

Sorry guys 1 more question. how do i open the ACM File? i try to open it, just comes come says select program from Web, but nothing comes up besides unknown File

You right click the text file that came in the download and click "Install." Ignore that other file.

Also, you may need to slow down some of the sounds, namely the mono ones. You can do this by clicking Effects->Decrease speed.

Anyone know how to INJECT yhe sounds, i got the extraction part done, but is this basically the same concept for model injection? (ya know the same files kinda thing )
