Well, I have finally gotten my XSATA and have been extremely hapy to mod with you guys. But know I have a few questions for people who have or know how to mod...
1) Once I do ANYTHING to a map, even if it's the smallest thing or putting a patch on it through serenity, etc, I need to resign through Entity or a different porgram?
2) Once I have imported a Pelican, a Phantom or the Gravity Throne, I change the driver to Ghost_d right?
3) I can paste the Code for the Pelican for those of a warthogs to spawn multiple pelicans where the warthogs spawn correct?
Thank you guys very much for helping me out!
Edit: How do I take the patch off of the map once I am finished?
Thanks again

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes
Well, you need to make a patch. Use Serenity or SPPF to make one.

Is there any premade patches that will restore the map back to normal, if so would you mind linking me to one?
Thanks very much, I haven't any worries for my pelican =)

I don't think so. Just get a clean map off of the disk.

Wait, so you mean just copy and paste a back-up to restore the map...ah-ha! Like halo trial/PC
I should have known, thanks again.

Serenity automatically resigns maps when patches are applied.

To do that you'd need a patch made specifically for that mod. You'd have to have the clean map and the modded map, then use the modded map as the source and the clean as the modified, then generate a patch specific to that mod. You'd either have to have the clean map already, thus defeating the purpose, or the creator of every mod would have to take the time to make a whole separate patch dedicated to their mod restoring a map to its original state, which would be absolutely ridiculous when people should be responsible enough to back up their maps.

When applying even the slightest mod
Why is it that you have to resign?
The thing is I haven't been resigning any of my modded maps lately
And yet they still work fine
Even when used on a different xbox
*confused*

Thanks tural very much, but I'm thinking you're also saying I can just as easily paste the back-up of my map onto the origianl file and it should be back to normal?
