I recently decided to finally tackle the monstrous task that is 3d modelling for halo. I found a tutorial on it, made a relatively simple weapon model to replace the BR, a Lancer, and scaled it corectly and everything. (in 3dsMax) Now, when I tried to inject it using entity, I get an error message (Below) What did I do wrong?
An extremely obnoxious render of my Lancer

ok, i guess i can try that one too, although its very similar to the other two I used. I would really like to know what that error means though...

Maybe your model has too many faces. And try opening it with misfit model 3d and then resaving it as the same thing and do that for each one. I've noticed 3dsmax obj saves don't work half the time when injecting but if you resave it in a different app then it normally works.

hmmm..
Sometimes when your using a map and you accidently clcik something wrong it comes up with an error
that you would understand
but then everything starts screwing up
Has that happened with the map your modding?
just a thought
answers above ^ are also correct

It's another 3d Modeling program.
http://www.misfitcode.com/misfitmodel3d/
Also, try injecting the model with a different application, such as DarkMatter.

Make sure that you renamed your model to the extracted one. Also make sure the .mtl file you are injection is the exact same thing that was extracted.

@Darkshellfall
That .mtl thing might be it...
@Eaton
Darkmatter fucked the hell out of the map when I used it.

Upon further investigation I found that my lancer file is almost twice the size of the br. Could be an issue.

I've seen that error message a few times and that is most likely a map error. Have you tried taking a CLEAN map and injecting it?
