tiling textures and bump maps

so I'm making a mod for foundation and the upper part of the level is tiles when I skin it. my textures are seamless though...whats wrong?
also what format do I save a bump map in?

hmmm Well for your bump maps you may want to go with
this tutorial this tut is also on remnant mods but not too sure about your textures.

Try making the textures non-seamless?

sorry for double posting but the bump map comes out corrupted when I try to inject it with that format

are you using Entity UE 1.6?

yes..I guess i could try to do it the old way with dothalo but I'd much rather do it properly.

Make sure your using this format for the bump maps. And did you mean your bump map was corrupted or did you mean your bitmap?

when I inject my bumpmap it corrupts my bumpmap and its corresponding bitmap. and yes I am saving in that format

Send me your texture. I'll see why it tiles so badly. Also, with a surface that big, you'll always see SOME tiling, unless you use a solid color.
I can see what I can do, though...

well, if the original corresponding bitmap wasn't a A8R8GB8 then that would be one of your problems. As for the bumpmap, I don't know.
