How do I skin a Model i made?

can someone please help me... i made a model of a XM8 rifle and, i dono how to skin it, i replaced the model with the BR and all, and it works great in the game, the only problem is, the skin, it looks like total shight... its got like the BR skin... can u help me

can like someone help me with this map... ill give credit, and such, but ive been working on this for a while now... and it would b great for someone to help me...

I'm assuming you're talking about the uvw mapping tutorial?
