If the LED of my xbox is red cause it modded can i go online still without getting banned? Can i go online but only play in customs when the LED is red?
If not how do you go online with mods without getting banned? I just wanna play my mods in customs game online with my friends, not in matchmaking.
If i uninstall the softmod can i still use a Halo 2 MAPPACK ISO DISC(ex:Killtrocity V2)
PLease answer I dont want to get bannned from xbox live.

No you can't, you'll get banned.
Play on XBC or Xlink.

Wait - do you have a softmod or a modchip? I assumed you had a modchip because you mentioned the led being red, which on the Xecuter chip means that the chip is turned off.
I'm assuming you have a mod chip for the rest of this post, but you didn't really state that.
If the led is red, that means the chip is off, and you can go online.
To the question if you could use the Killtrocity disk - you need the modchip to be on to do that.
But if you go online in Halo 2 with modified DLC content, expect a near instant permanent matchmaking ban on that account. There is no way to go online with mods and not get banned, or at least no reliable way I know of or would discuss anyway.

A softmodded Xbox can also present a red light, Agent ME.

I heard Bungie doesn't ban people from Matchmaking anymore, they just kick you out after like 15 seconds or so. However, if you sign into live with a mod chip you WILL be banned from Xbox Live

[quote="kirk"]Modding on Xbox Live, admitting to have done so, and explaining how to is against not only HaloMods rules but Bungie

Going online with any modified content is grounds for being banned. Also, people in the party of the modified game will be banned as well (from what I remember reading in one of the waambulance articles on their site).
Just tell them to get XBC or XLink Kai. That's the only way to play with them without being banned from Xbox Live.
