halo 2 modding

i want to start modding halo 2 for xbox but i dont know how to do it

can u tell me how so i can get started?

I know you can find out about this by searching around first, but since you have already posted.......you should mod your xbox before you start any modding

Have you modded your xbox?
Do you have the maps?
Do you have a modding application?

get a comfy chair and read.....lots
first of all mod your xbox
learn how to ftp to your xbox
get dothalo (found in utilities here)
find 99 dothalo tutorial (here I think, google will find it)
don't use mods to cheat EVER regardless of where you play it just worsens all modders reputations
don't mod on XBL EVER cos you'll get banned both here and there
get bored with the mods that all new modders love
read zone117's "how to become a respected modder tut"
give up on dothalo and start using entity
start a proper project>tear hair out>realize you forgot things>cry>start again......

most importantly get a modding buddy on MSN/AIM to help explain tutorials and to explain how problems can be worked around

if youve got a 360 you dont need any of that soft/hard modded xbox..simply buy xsata for your 360 and it becomes easier..except for modding OLD OLD maps
