HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hey, I'm new to these forums but I'm super old to Halo 2. (gamertag - SampleWheel) anyway.....I am looking to make some mods to one of my xboxes, but see heres the thing I'm new to moding halo 2, but im not a complete retard about how to mod. So heres the trade I'm looking to do:

I will make any models of anything with textures and bumpmaps for someones mod our personal use. All they would have to do is be there for my every question and basically hold my hand through some of my first mods.

I'd be willing to give you a holding helping hand. I am not that great at modeling so I think this would be great team-up. I usually work from 12 to about 12 everyday, so I can reply to posts or IMs then or just let you know my days off if you need to message me on MSN.

ok, I need a nice step by step guide to setting up my xbox for modding. I will have an Action replay so Im not looking to open the xbox.

It isn't hard when you have the files you need. I don't remember where they are though. Something about an irc channel. There is a website that has all the info and files you need. Have fun. I don't really have time but though Id tell you its pretty easy.

PS..That is a super rocking mauler model you got there.

I like the mauler from perfect dark better then the h3 model, but thats just me.

here is the exact way i modded my xbox with SID and using Mech Assualt, tho a while later i installed a new HDD (160GB totally irrelevant)

Whoever tried to remove the link to that page didn't do it correctly...Either that or RedFox4, you shouldn't be posting links to that site here...

If your going to soft mod your xbox, its best you also use a video tutorial on Youtube.
