model sizing?

model sizing?

alright im aware tha entity has a model sizing plugin for the mode tags but anytime i tell it to, say multiply the models size by 2x, in the game it just looks really messed up and disstorted. anyone have any suggestions?

Try using the plugin with a different app- Insolence or ADI

It gets messed up because the bones (think of it as a skeleton for animations) don't resize and it would take an eternity to recalculate all of those values manually.
I think turk actually worked an app that would fix it but never released/finished it?

Here's a good model resizer.
It was posted in the wrong section at the time of release.

Exactly how is the model messed up?
The texture looks really screwed up, or the animations make the model parts move at weird angles?

the model itself is all like messed up, like it looks flat from a certain angle

lawl... I tried resizing a model recently and its turned into a pancake. I was using the soccerball if your wondering...

ADI has a model sizer library which works really nice.

the problem is he's altering the uv values it will work fine if he doesnt change them

Actually when I did the soccerball I never touched the UV coords...

But yea; I was using one of the entity's built-in model resizers...

Ironically I even made a javascript model resizing script... Never finished it because the stupid formatting when to hell for the forms but the math was sound...

Fuzzman; are you trying to resize the soccerball by chance? Try editing the values by hand.
