How do you add maps to 360

i have an xbox 360 and i put the harddrive i my pc and i realized there was no main menu for halo 2 and there was patches and i opened them in entity
and added a map slot and added the map then resigned it and put it onto my hardrive and put the hardrive in my 360 and started up halo 2 and it said
the content that you have downloaded to your console is damaged please try again and the new map wasn't there

did you put the maps you added to the patch in the same folder as it?

make sure you resigned bolth the patch adn your maps, and make sure you spelled everything corretly. If you still get the error then just see if your map loads if it does then just ignore it.

i resigned both and the maps dont show in the maps list.

hmm I dont know then, I would just check your spelling. Make a new folder and try with only the patch and your maps.

would you be using 1.1 or 1.5 update?

i dont know i used the disk i don't have live any more and i got a 360 so i got the disk

hmm idk look in the utilities section there should be a form stickied on downloadable content. In it there is a tutorial on how to get it working.

Which means you only have the 1.1 update. You will need to sign into xbox live to get the 1.5 update. Then you can have all maps including Tombstone and that other map.

well if the updated maps get put into container files, then your out of luck. Im not sure though i would doubt it cus its old content.

did u just say ur Halo 2 disk doesnt have a mainmenu.map? :?

I think he ment theres no mainmenu.map in the d/l content maps, and there shouldent be.
