sbsp, and bipd injecting problems

okay this is really pissing me off. ok so far ive decomplied the bsp_transition01 from 05_deltatemples.map and then i inject this sbsp into containment.map also with entity. next i injected 3 elite character tags: elite, elite major, elite ultra, and elite zealot. my map size is only in the mid 60's in size. now i go into insolence. i open 03_oldmombassa and containment.map. i now drag the marine bipd tag from 03_oldmombassa over to containment.map. it starts and asks for my single player shared map. i open that and the movebox thing continues. now this is where my problem is. evrysingle dang time it stops on marine.mode. omg its so irritating, ive also tried this with several other bipd's. o and also, my maps were all fresh from the disk. one more tihng, im not trying to build anything using H2core, because it has never successfully built anything into my map successfully. so if anyone has any idea of why this always does this, please, please let me know.

Well maybe it seems like it's stopping, when in fact it still is working.
How long have you waited? Seriously on my old computer building in a marine took over an hour.
Patience will be rewarded (with chocolate cake).

Don't use the drag and drop functionality. Have recursive and parsed checked and save the marine bipd tag, and then build that into your map. Also make sure that when using entity to do a bsp conversion the bsp from the map you're taking it from is equal to or smaller in size than the one you're putting it into.

well for lod3x, my computer is like incredily fast, it can rebuil a mp map in about 2 mins, and insolence drags and drops pretty quickly also. and to ownz joo, whenver i do that method of injecting a marine or any other bipd, it makes my map size around 110 evrytime =/

i had the same problem i for get how i fixed it i think i transfered a clean map but you tryed that. i would try transfering your bipeds first.

Well thats because it transfers the sounds, insolence doesn't transfer sounds correctly. I guess try to null the marine.mod dependency, and transfer that later by using entity and relink them once you transfer it over.
