Can I fix a sound file by internalizing it

I just copied over a few sp characters using h2 core and I'm trying to give them working sounds. Ch2r plays them fine and they are not internalized, but the game freezes when ever I try to kill them and even push them.

Just wondering, would internalizing the sound files fix my problem? All I need are the dieing sounds.

I can't remember how exactly i've gotten it to work but I believe you can transfer the sounds over that are needed. Change their name. Make note of which name change went to which sound. Then transfer over the biped. Then swap the bipeds referenced sounds with those of the new ones you transfered earlier.

I don't do much modding anymore, but have you tried to transfer them using Entity?

Are you just trying to transfer the bipd? You should rebuild whatever you needed to rebuild, and then try to transfer(using recursively and parsed save and building into the map) the bipd or sounds using entity or any program that you can get to work, does Prey's map editor transfer sounds?

Do I have to inject each sound file at a time?

just add the sound by building it internalize it and then extract the sound from the map its in like the clean map then inject it into yours done. Im gunna write a tut when i get to it
