I am trying to give a gun a second trigger with its own projectile and magazine, so it has its own ammo limit and does not deplete the primary trigger's ammo.
I've gotten it to work, but there are still some cosmetic problems:
- The second trigger has the same firing effect as the primary trigger, but it does not show during the game. It makes the firing sound but does not perform the animation.
- There isn't a clean way to show how much ammo is in both magazines in the HUD, is there? I doubt the game is equipped for it. As usual, I've come up with a dirty workaround, but I need to test it further. It would be nice if there were a better way.
The second trigger's firing effect is probably more important to me though.
