How do I get a mach to stop?

I have doors placed in a map, I remember being able to stop the doors from opening, but I can't get the doors to stop opening. Does anyone know how to stop machs from working?
Thanks in advance

I agree. The better way to go is the set the SID to
platform instead of elevator or wheel or something...

in the mach tag there are movement speed values, just set them to 0

Don't turn the knob, and lock it tightly.

I'm sure there's a flag somewhere for auto-opening doors, and you should be able to disable that (if it's spawned properly as a mach). Or at least I know there's a script command to disable a door (if it's properly spawned as a mach in that reflexive).

That's what I do, and it is probably the simplest way.

As Turk and bibbit said, reduce Mach speed to 0.
