I don't think that's what he means. That will create another instance or reference to the mach in the map, which, by itself, will not affect gameplay at all.

If only someone would write a tutorial about this and include a lot of pictures and post it in the Tutorials section for everyone to read...

If you want your machines to function, be sure to add them to the mach palette and spawn them through the mach placement palette. If they are spawned through a palette other than the mach palette, such as the netgame equipment or obstacle palette, they will not function.

If that all sounds like Greek to you, spend some time poking around in the [scnr] tag with the Meta Editor, think about what each reflexive refers to, read more tutorials, tinker some more, etc. It's a good way to learn.

well that wont work if he wants to see it... thebest way is to go to scnr tag in entity... then right click in the reflexivewindow and choose clone chunk... when the window comes up find netgame equiptment and clich the plus sign on the left of it... find your scenery you made in the list and select it... on the right hand side there are a bunch of buttons... go to the little window and youll see the number 20... thats how many clones your making so change that number to whatever you want... (dont make it a lot or else your map will freeze) then click clone chunks.. after the click add meta to map...

the cloned machs will be in the same place as the first mach you placed... so select the first one in bsp viewer and move it thne click on it againand move it... do this until you cant click and leave one mach were clicked but have more selected.

EDIT GRRR Catain beat me to the post  .. but he may not have a machine pallet only a few maps do...
