Whenever i try to open 03a_oldmombassa.map (outskirts) in enity I get the popup message that says mainmenu-map not found- set map paths.

You have to tell Entity which directory (on your computer's HD) your mainmenu.map is in. I'm not sure which version of Entity you're using, but click around until you find the option that lets you set the map paths.

For important reasons, you should acquire maps from your Halo 2 disc and nowhere else. And you should remove that link.
