Yes I realize that this is a hardware discussion, but is it possible to take a graphics card from an xbox and put it into a computer?

No. The Xbox uses an integrated graphics card and cannot be removed.

As far as I remember the xbox1 has 64 MB of memory full stop (period for the americans) which is split between the processor and the graphics card so If you could put a 64 MB card in it would be a vast improvement but you cant (I hate saying can't when it comes to computers but without a PHD in micro electronics a year to work on the project and perhaps 20-30 people to work on the project with you, can't is all you'll get from me)
*Edit oh I'm an idiot I thought you wanted a better graphics card taken from your pc and put in your xbox, wow you must have a pretty crappy video card in your pc to want to replace it with xbox graphical capability's*

I'm pretty sure the card is similar to a GeForce 3... which is ancient. Nvidia is starting its GeForce 9 series pretty soon if I'm not mistaken. Things get old fast.

Integrated graphics chips can be removed. You could transfer this to a motherboard that had the proper architecture to support it; However, I don't think there are another motherboards besides the retail xbox one.
You would have to extensively modify the xbox motherboard to support pc hardware if you wanted to put it in a desktop.
I'm almost positive this is an impossible project, assuming you have no soldering/technical experience.

You can install windows 98 on your xbox. I doubt anybody's made drivers for the xbox's graphix for windows 98 though.

Turn an xbox into a xbox360 from spare parts you have around the house... Now that would be nice.
