You can FTP them from your disc to your PC, then to your xbox HD if you wanted.

If you have the CD in your Xbox, you can FTP the files from the D: drive on to your PC. If you use dvd2xbox, you can burn the files on to the E: or F: drive of your Xbox, depending on whether or not you have an upgraded hard drive. From there you can FTP to your PC as well.

Halo 2 does not contain bitmaps.map. It uses shared.map and singleplayershared.map and even the mainmenu for holding external bitmaps.

Please don't double post. Use the edit button or wait for somebody else to respond to your thread first.

No you don't. I have halo 2 on my stock hard drive, and It works perfectly. I don't use my xbox for anything else, so I'm not guaranteeing you will have enough space, but give it a try. Try to have at least 2500MB free.

Oye... I said this somewhere else but forgot where...

I have a xbox V1.0 stock hardrive. Here is what is currently on it

Xored 2.2
Yelo
Evox
Evolutionx
XBMC
30 minute movie
My modded halo 2
AI revision mappack
(All DLC maps)
789MB of hardrive space left.

Note that both the halo 2's do not have the binks folder or anything related to singleplayer.

I'm sure you can fit what you want. You will not be able to use dvd2xbox after adding some of the applications to your xbox. To get around this ftp all of halo 2 from drive D: to a folder on your computer, then ftp to either F: or E:

A program made for the xbox that will rip xbox games to your hdd. You can also use Xbox Media Center (xbmc) or Avalaunch.
