Cloning Machs

ok so im trying to clone machine placement chunks in entity but the machines dont show up. is there another app i can use. :?:

After you clone are you swaping the actual machine place.

what. im cloning machine placment in coag. but only the first 4 original chunks show up in the game the other 10 i added dont show up.

just so you know i want to spawn machines with a different tag not netgame equiptment

It's because you aren't cloning placement chunks. You need placement chunks for every pallete chunk you clone. So say I wanted 2 trees...both of them being different and I want 4 of each to spawn. I would clone 2 palette chunks...telling my map I have 2 different trees to choose from. Then clone 8 machine placement chunks. Now you need to reference 1 palette chunk to you first tree. Then reference the second palette chunk to your second tree. Because we cloned 8 placement chunks...we just need to reference 4 of those to our first palette chunk. And of course, you reference the other 4 placement chunks to the second palette chunk. Understand lol?

i know that. thats what i did but the trees dont show up. i think its because of entitys chunk cloning problems.

Entity doesn't have chunk cloning problems, unless you have bad plugins...

yes it does such as the problem whith adding slots to mainmenu well its the same with machine placement.

but its all good now because i converted my plugins and now the machs load up.

It has never messed up machine placement for me ever, and if you really wanna get down to it you could say that the map slots problem was "bad plugins" even though it was a glitch in entity that messed up chunk cloning with certain plugin values.

ya i fixed those and i was wron i was looking at the wrong trees.... lol. thyre still not showing up.

maybe because coag doesnt have machine placment so i had to copy it from another map.

i gues i could do this on containment
