Spawning New Items in Single Player

I would like to know if spawning new items in campaign works the same as it does in mulitplayer mode. I have a scenario plugin for Entity that lets you select which bsp the item will spawn in. For instance, I want to spawn a new Zanzibar Gate, along with a Control. I realize there are tutorials for spawning machines, but when I tried this, it didn't work.

Also, another question I have: Is it possible to spawn things via Item Collection. If I was to inject a few [itmc] tags, along with the Netgame Equipment reflex, could I succesfully spawn items?

No, it dosen't because theirs not ITMC. I mean it might be possible if you added it with Entitys Chunk Cloner, but that might just freeze the game, Campaign works off of Scripts.

Can the same thing be applied to blocs, machines, scenery, etc?
