2 new maps not loading

I modded tombstone and I have a modded mainmenu. The map loaded fine when it was unmodded but when I modded it, it said "You failed to load the map." I tried signing the map 3 times, I tried entity, cmr2, dothalo and none of them worked. in cmr and dothalo it said the sig was 0, I don't think this is the right signature.

does anyone know how to sign the new maps, highplains2 and tombstone?

You might have corrupted the map, I'm not sure. Try clearing the cache?

First off the map Highplains is not HighPlains2 its original name is highplains with no number thats y tombstone doesnt load right.

Also its ok if the sig is 0 as long as u rename the maps and modded and add maps to mainmenu the sig will change by it self if u mod it again.

well that even though u added 2 vehicles but maybe the problem is that u need to rename the highplains2 map into highplains with no number htat probalby why the map doesn't load and also try this.

I've found that modded main menus, at least rebuilt ones, always fail to load every map. I'm not quite sure why this is. I checked all the scenario paths, and they were fine, so I don't know...

you cannot resign maps, you can do things that makes the map work without resigning, so, get a clean one, start over, do somethings that you know wont make it need resigning, and have fun, it works ... ive done it, the barriers can be taken off

what do you mean it doesn't need resigning? if you don't then it will fail to load. unless you use serenity to apply a patch then you don't need to and i noticed the main menu somtimes fails to load certain maps when you have a full list prim example of this is i added orbital relay to my halo 2 CE version of halo2 and worked fine then i added it to my normal h2 because i forgot it was on CE and it wouldn't load and i know i did everything the exact same with serenity

what do you mean it doesn't need resigning?
when you mod something it doesnt always change the signiture, and if you need to make a patch of the map and apply to clean one, if it works its all good

well everytime iv even just added say a few tree's to a map i failed to load unless i resigned the map idk maybe just a vehi. since i believe the tags are there for that map there just not used

I'm guessing this. If I make a serenity patch of my mod and then apply it to a clean map I won't have to resign the map

well i know for a fact that if you remove the death barriers it doesnt hurt the signiture, ive done it my self, and its not much to see out there, a pipe, buildings, and some rocks, nothing to exciting

yes because then if you add the map you patched to the main menu using serenity it will have to use the signature that serenity gave it so it should load so just make a patch. use a clean Highplains map name it what you want then hit use main menu make sure you have your menu in a folder like say Modded h2 maps it will ask you for a directory and choose the folder named what ever that has the main menu then apply patch then drag your new Highplains map over and the main menu over and wala new map added to the menu

to use the main menu in case you don't know go to the last tag in serenity at the far right then choose the directory that has your main menu you want to use
