Mmmk, thanks for sharing, but this isn't your thread

.
But anyway, I think you should start to mod beavercreek. It's a small and chaotic map that hasn't been modded a lot lately.
Theme? First we need to split it up into a few parts.
Environment
For me to find a theme, I try and look at good photography. So say you mod beavercreek. It's a canyon, and to start lets go with a sunset. So you search sunset canyon on Google like
SO. Then, you let your imagination do the rest.
Weapons
References are the way to go IMO. There are some modders that are just amazing, like Mr Murda, who can think of the coolest weapons ever just in his mind. I can't do that though. I just think of games that I have played, and try and make guns similar to them.
Vehicles
References again, same as above.
That's all I can think of right now, so do your best bro, and good luck!

Beavercreek is a good map samll chaotic as Fox said really if u want to make a good mod just choose either A maps people don't usually mod and put alot of work into it or B choose a map that most people already like and put hard work into it to change the gameplay to make it more fun
one little tip of advice almost all the community is tired of the old dark damp foggy mods idk y i love them still but for some it doesn't boat well just thought u might want to know that before u choose your theme
to help with your map i suggest going to the search button for tut's and looking up these
how to spawn scenery
how to add new things to a map using entity
how to add water (using either h2 core and h2 guerrilla or detox's tools)
how to add weather (using either h2 core and h2 guerrilla or detox's tools)
how to add creatures to a map (like birds and fishy's lol)
how to skin using photoshop (or program of choice)
how to make new models (making new models is hard i don't even do that i just ask my friends if i can use theres)
if u want to try some really advanced stuff on a mod u can try adding AI to a map

like they said it starts with a theam, i like to make maps similar to real life, using real photos i take on my phone as textures, and representing real world event such as the war and what not.
Comic books some times give me insperation to, (i know, its old school, but so am i, proly older than all of you modders out there).
