For some odd reason whenever I try to load lockout off of the Hard Drive it always fails. Does anybody have a clue why?

I am using an unmodded main menu and unmodded Lockout an it still wont load.

I also get the same problem... I have not one clue on how this could happen. Although, I can load a modded version of Lockout, just that its under a different name on mainmenu. Try that.

did you get rid of the update but still have the new maps in the tdata drive? That is what causes it to happen. Not always yelo.

Lockout is linked to the TDATA files because of an update.

is there anything in your "TDATA/.......64/" if so than rename those files to something else like ($u to $u_ and $c to $c_), and that should fix your problem. Also try deleting the updater.xbe and the other updater file from your halo 2 folder on your xbox

you only need these three files for halo 2 to load normally

bink (optional)
maps
default.xbe

any other files listed in that folder you can remove

Oh, thats right, but what I'm telling him to do is to just copy those first three files you see on your halo 2 disk.

I'll post it again to get my point out

these are the only things you need to copy from your disk

2 folders:
"bink" (if yyou want the intro video)
"maps"

and the "default.xbe"

When you remove patch... You need to remove new map pack too. Just rename this folder: $u and $c
