Is it at all possible to add the friends list to the main menu of a system link game, without being signed into xbox live?

I am making some superbounce videos over the next couple of weeks (not in matchmaking) and would really like to be able to see landing points.

Is it at all possible to add it in the mainmenu.map file?

The press Y to view friends list - even if it only shows a blank list?
I already have my mainmenu.map dukes'd with the extra options (from Kv2)

You probably don't even need a friends list, just some sort of screen to pop up that causes the game to lag and the vertexes to show up. (Or what ever it actually does)

Any ideas on where o go with it?
Currently - Im using yelo in wireframe mode - but it is not as acurate as destinguishing between which lines is exceptionally difficult - Lol.
