Gametype Problems

Post by DrXThirst »

As you may have seen, I have taken Decipher down as I was going to revamp it and release as a much better map. However, I have run into a problem that I cannot fix. King of the Hill works fine, however, territories are terrible. Some of them can be taken from far away, others cannot be taken at all. So, if anyone could help me with this problem, that would be greatly appreciated. You will get major credit accordingly. Thanks, thirst.

I have experimented with some gametype settings before - it seems some things like bomb arming points have both a spawn for the actual point, and a second spawn about 3-5 feet away, and the distance between the second point and the middle becomes the radius of the circle around the actual point.

IE, if you move the actual bomb spot to a new place, but you don't move the "radius"-point, then the distance between them will get very high, and you'll get a huge arming zone circle - you know how when you approach the zone you have to get into to arm the bomb you can see the border? I got a screenshot somewhere on my computer of that zone taking up half the level on Headlong :P

I bet the same thing applies to territories.
