Flying Turrets

Can someone post a tutorial link or a tutorial on how to make a Chaingun turret (The one from the Warthog) fly and be shootable (haha word creation is fun). I wanted to use it in a mod, but now its just for fun in singleplayer 
I wanted it to shoot out of a Plasma Pistol, but already figured that out on my own. Now, it shoots out, and I'm able to board it. Except, I cannot shoot, nor fly. Can Someone assist me? Thanks
