Modding in a jackle shield

I havent modded Halo 2 in a looooong time, and theres one thing I cant remember how to do. How the heck do I make a jackal shield weildable by the Master Chief? ATM Im using DotHalo, and I cant even seem to find it in the "weapons" tab...
So, what app should I use (if theres been a better one since DotHalo), and is there a link to a tut, or is anyone bored enough to tell me? Thanks in advance...
